Echocardiogram I
Following balloon valvuloplasty of the pulmonic valve you can see that the valve opens wider, the peak velocity is almost within normal range and color flow Doppler shows flow that is no longer turbulent, although it does alias. The transesophageal echocardiograms were taken immediately after the procedure while the dog was still anesthetized. The transthoracic echocardiograms were taken 4 months after the procedure.
